While market narratives nearly always influence stock prices, not all market narratives are grounded in facts. As narratives deviate from facts, opportunity emerges, and the KP7 team engages.

The KP7 seven-principled investment evaluation process differentiates between narratives grounded in facts and those that are not.

This systematic process creates a collection of approximately 40 fully-vetted companies that we call the ‘KP7 Cache’.

Investments move from the KP7 Cache into the portfolio and from the portfolio back to the KP7 Cache based on our tactical research. Our tactical research identifies the optimal moments to buy and sell the stock.

The Path
to Investment

How our 7 principles are deployed and guide our investment choices.

Our research is strengthened by a team built around different disciplines and perspectives. Elite MBA-trained quantitative analysts work alongside those examining the qualitative and human dimensions of a business, bringing together the numbers, the people and the broader context to arrive at what matters most: a Buffett-style assessment of intrinsic value.

The Spark

Investment ideas come from many sources: insights uncovered through prior research, deep knowledge of specific industries, opportunities brought to us by our clients, and an active network across the investment community. Together, these inputs create a continuous pipeline of ideas worthy of deeper KP7 investigation.

Ways to Invest

Different structures. The same KP7 investment discipline.

We recognize that investors come to KP7 with different objectives, circumstances and requirements. Our investment approach can be accessed through several structures, each designed to provide an appropriate way to participate in the KP7 strategy.

Separately Managed Accounts
Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)
BVI Offshore Fund
Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

A dedicated account provides direct transparency and access to the KP7 investment strategy, with assets held separately by our custodian Fidelity for accredited investors.

Our SPVs provide investors with the opportunity to participate in specific investments where we believe the circumstances warrant a more concentrated approach.

For eligible non-U.S. investors, our British Virgin Islands fund provides access to the KP7 strategy through an offshore investment structure.

For those looking to combine investing with charitable giving, KP7 can be accessed through our relationship with Fidelity Charitable, allowing eligible investors to participate in the strategy within a donor-advised fund.

Performance

Ultimately, performance is how we grade ourselves.

Performance is the clearest measure of whether our investment approach is working. KP7’s inception date is July 1, 2021, providing the foundation against which we measure our long-term results.

In January 2025, we entered KP7 2.0—a more focused application of the investment principles developed since inception, centered on identifying market inefficiencies, strong free cash flow and businesses with enduring relevance. We present both our results since inception and those of KP7 2.0, providing a clear view of how the strategy has evolved and performed over time.

The Scorecard
